Møteplasser screening in Oslo

Bastet is being screened as part of Møteplasser project at Oslo Central Station between 6 July and 6 August. Other videos on show are Underströmmar by Carolina Jonsson and Roadmovie by My Lindh. The screening is part of Rom for Kunst programme of exhibitions in public spaces in Norway. Curated by twochange.

On May 14-16th I’m representing the Lebanese art organisation 98weeks at No Soul For Sale festival in the Turbine Hall at Tate Modern. The event celebrates Tate Modern’s 10^th birthday and is curated by Maurizio Cattelan, Cecilia Alemani and Massimiliano Gioni.

Interchat symposium

On 7-8 April I took part in Interchat symposium organised by Laundry in partnership with Birmingham City Council and The Drum where I led a discussion on international artist residencies. Interchat guests and speakers included: Airan Berg, Linz 2009 European Capital of Culture (Austria), François Matarasso (UK), Fundacja Pogranicze (Poland), Nova Kultura (Bulgaria).

Bastet will be shown in an exhibition at Arsenal Gallery in Poznan, Poland taking place between 7th May and 6th June 2010 as part of The Pursuit of Happiness project involving 35 international artists.

Bastet in Videomedeja competition

Bastet was also selected for the competition program of the 13th International Video Festival VIDEOMEDEJA which takes place on December 11 -13th in Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina, Novi Sad, Serbia.

Screening in Athens

Bastet was part of the compilation selected by Athens Video Festival to be screened in Athens central Metro station (Syntagma) on 27th-29th November 2009 as part of World’s AIDS Day events.
